Mflash Usage
It is assumed that the Mflash and Jlink drivers are properly installed.
1. Module vs. Mflash Option
Module | Chip | FW | Write Address | JLINK Connection |
EMW3080 | mx1290 | xxxx.all.bin | 0x0000 | SWDIO, SWCLK, GND |
EMC3080 | mx1300 | xxxx.all.bin | 0x0000 | SWDIO, SWCLK, GND |
EMC3180 | xxxx.all.bin | 0x0000 | SWDIO, SWCLK, GND | |
EMC3280 | mx1310 | xxxx.all.bin | 0x0000 | SWDIO, SWCLK, GND |
EMC3290 | mx1310 | xxxx.all.bin | 0x0000 | SWDIO, SWCLK, GND |
EMC3380 | mx1310 | xxxx.all.bin | 0x0000 | SWDIO, SWCLK, GND |
Note. Be careful not to include “space” in the FW path.
2. HW Sequence for FW Download
Power-on Target Board/Module → Connect SWDIO, SWCLK, and GND of the module to JLINK.
3. Execute Mflash
Let’s take EMC3280 as an example
Case1. Execute the GUI version of the Mflash
Case 2. CMD version of the Mflash.
The Mflash CMD version is executed with the following commands and options in the Windows cmd window.
Path> mflash -m mx1310 -d jlink_swd -a 0x0 -f d:/fw/helloworld@emc3280.all.bin
