EVBKS5 HW Description
EVBKS5 is an evaluation kit for 24GHz mmWave sensor.
It provides an easy-to-evaluate and develop the 1T2R mmWave sensor or module.
The board is equipped with three antennas(TX, RX1, RX2), S5KM312CL as radar SoC, STM32F429VET6 as MCU.

1. Radar SoC(S5KM312CL) HW System Block
♦ TX Chain
FMCW signal(Pattern Generator and PLL) → Frequency multiplier(x3) → Transmit to the air via TX antenna
( LOBUF-OUT is directly connected to LOBUF_IN in general application)
♦ RX Chain
Target object reflects the mmWave signal → Reflected signal is collected by Rx antenna
→ Rx signal is conversed to IF baseband signal → Digital raw data by ADC
→ Raw data is transferred to DSP(1DFFT/2DFFT DSP) or to external MCU through SPI.
2. EVBKS5 System Block
♦ MCU will process the data → Detect the target in specified detection region → Report the detection result via UART or USB Type-C.
