Output Configuration

Output Data Configuration tab supports configuring output-related parameters.

 

Parameter Description
Data Type Setting output data type
SPI Transmission Rate SPI transmission rate, Recommend 15.89MHz.
RAW Sample Offset Starting position when performing DSP on RAW data
RAW Sample Step Down-sampling step when performing DSP on RAW data.
RAW Sample Size Number of samples when performing DSP on RAW data.
1DFFT Compute Size Length of 1DFFT when performing DSP.
1DFFT Output Size Length of 1DFFT output by DSP.
2DFFT Line Num Line number of 2DFFT when performing DSP.

 

 

 

 

 

1. Data Type

Decide which stage you want to receive data output from the DSP block.

DSRAW: down sampling RAW data, mainly used for debugging serial data

1DFFT: slave board driver outputs 1DFFT data

2. Raw Data(DSRAW)

EVBKS5 outputs the following data types: 1DFFT, 2DFFT, 2DFFT_PEAK, and DSRAW, which are all processed from RAW data.

The sample rate of EVBKS5 is fixed to 2.5MSPS. 

It is highly recommended →  (1) T0x2.5M < RAW Sample Offset,  (2) T1x2.5M > RAW Sample Step x RAW Sample Size.

3. 1D-FFT

Parameter Default Range

Description

1DFFT Compute Size 256 64, 128, 256

The size of data in a 1DFFT

1DFFT Output Size 64 1 ~1DFFT computation size

Output size after 1DFFT process.

It must be no bigger than 1DFFT computation size

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. 2D-FFT

2DFFT Line Num: for setting the line number of 2DFFT when performing DSP.

 

Parameter Default Range Description  
2DFFT Line Number 32 The power of 2

Chirp number in the 2DFFT process,

1. It must be no bigger than the Chirp number in a frame,

( suggested to be equal to Chirp No. per Frame)

2. It must be a certain power of 2;

3. Data Size = 2DFFT Line Number x 1DFFT Output Size = 1024.

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. 2D-FFT Peak

slave board driver outputs the maximum values of 2DFFT
