Chirp Waveform and Configuration
An FMCW radar signal generator is basically composed of a pattern generator and a PLL.

1. Chirp/FMCW Modulation
A chirp signal is generated by an FMCW modulator,
which produces an RF or microwave signal whose frequency is proportional to the voltage of the applied waveform.

| Chirp Waveform(ex, TRI) | FMCW Modulator | RF/Microwave Chirp Signal |
T_START = 20 us
T_UP = 420 us
T_DOWN = 150 us
T_STOP = 410 us
Chirp Cycle = T_START + UP + DOWN + T_STOP = 20 + 420 + 150 + 410 = 1,000 us.
