An RF/microwave system block.

The mixer performs coherent down-conversion by multiplying the received RF signal with the TX reference (LO) signal.

Using in-phase (I) and quadrature (Q, 90° phase-shifted) LO paths,

it generates baseband I/Q signals that preserve amplitude and phase information for Doppler and range processing.

Unless you have sufficient expertise and tuning capability, keep the recommended or default values.

If a shorter measurement range is desired, reducing the power amplifier gain can significantly help achieve lower-power operation.
