Baseband System
The baseband performs quadrature down-conversion of the received radar signal into I/Q channels,
followed by analog filtering, programmable gain amplification (PGA), and ADC sampling
to produce digitized baseband signals for further processing.
The ADC sampling rate is fixed at 2.5 MHz by the system.
The saturation detector, which monitors I/Q ADC outputs to detect clipping and dynamically adjust PGA gain,
ensuring maximum dynamic range utilization while preventing ADC overdrive and accuracy degradation.
